June 21st is Father’s day, Summer Solstice, and Juhannus-the traditional Finnish Midsummer festival celebrating the summer solstice and the peak of the Midnight Sun. Central to the holiday is the kokko, a massive bonfire traditionally lit near a lake or shoreline to drive away evil spirits, ensure good luck, and celebrate the season.. We have plans we’d like you all to participate in! A couple of motivated folks are planning to cook a big brunch celebration after service. We’re also planning a drumming ceremony which will include a fire pit. With all the celebrating, we’ll also burn the prayers from our healing bowl. You can also offer intentions in our fire!

- First Sunday Meditation Mini-Retreat with Robert Aho will be on summer hiatus for now. If you would like to have a meditation class or retreat with Robert, please let him know- bobaho@bwith1
- The Unity Book Group’s next meeting will be Monday June 8th, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, in the Library room. The book group has finished Mary Magdalene Revealed, and will be discussing the next option. Contact is Rick Youmans-email: thecawl@hotmail.com
- The Law of Attraction Group will be taking a summer hiatus. They intend to start meeting at the church again September 8th. If you have any questions or inquiries about Abraham and the Law Of Attraction, you can contact Sue Hall at 218-340-3761. Sue will be glad to meet at a coffee shop, when schedules allow, to discuss this subject.
