BIO: Don is a lifelong Northern Minnesota resident, except for one year in CA and three years in the USMC, both of which taught him the benefit of identifying what was NOT good for him.  Don likes to laugh, and making other people laugh. And gardening. Sometimes at the same time.
Don holds a Bachelor of Arts  degree in English from the University of Minnesota. He is the world’s leading authority on Donald Roy DeWitt.

First Sunday Meditation Mini-Retreat with Robert Aho will be on the Sunday May 3rd, from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Free Will Donation Requested. See Robert about continuing this class after today. Bio: Aaron Tank is a musician/songwriter, originally from Turtle River, MN who has lived in Duluth since 2015. Also he is a spiritual seeker who incorporates universal/spiritual themes in his songs. Aaron often uses a meditative atmosphere to create music and write songs and he hopes that others might find inspiration in the songs and that the songs might serve as a catalyst for meaningful thought, reflection and discussion.

March-April Food Drive: Every year we try to help out Chum with their yearly March Food Drive. This year we are changing things up a little bit. We are partnering up with Peace Church to help out our neighborhood grade school. Myers-Wilkins School, located not far from our church, is currently experiencing a crisis moment more acutely than many places in our community. Immigrant families and families in transition (those experiencing homelessness or housing instability) are a large portion of the school population. With uncertainty surrounding immigration enforcement, SNAP benefits, child care assistance, and other supports, it’s time for us to step in as good neighbors. We invite you to donate nonperishable foods. Items in need are individually wrapped snacks for the classroom, Masa, dried beans, powdered or canned milk, and canned vegetables. Debbie will deliver the items to the school.  If you want to write a check, please make it out to Debbie Gitar. Thanks. * We have a table set up in the Community Room for donations. *  (We will continue to take donations through April.)
