Talk title: Self Love is The Path 

John has been a student of the principles of Oneness and self-development for nearly half his lifetime. His mission and purpose are to help all who seek to know their own Divinity.

He has as well been a friend of our church for many years… here to lend a hand with projects when we ask.  Also a knowledgeable creative…  glad to help strategize when projects need pathways forward.

This week our Speaker is Joel Kilgour with his Topic: Love is the Measure: 

A Community Approach to Ending Chronic Homelessness. 

Joel is Project Organizer for Stepping On Up, a 10-agency plan to reimagine Duluth’s homeless response system to meet current needs with dignity. For the past 27 years, he has been an advocate for housing justice.

Until recently he served as a full time volunteer at Loaves and Fishes : 3 homes on Jefferson Street offering shelter, hospitality and community inspired by the Dorothy Day & Catholic Worker movement also as chair of Duluth’s Affordable Housing Coalition from 2014-2022, and the site coordinator for the Chum Warming Center 2019-present.
