Julie’s topic is “Metta (Lovingkindness) as Our Responsibility”
BIO: Julie has been a seeker in healing modalities for decades, both for her own healing journey and learning how to support others. She has explored multitudes of modalities on multiple continents, compiling a well-resourced toolbox. In 2022, she earned her Holy Fire III Reiki Master certification, and she holds certificates in trauma healing, embodiment, qigong, dreamwork, psychedelic studies and guiding, sound healing, and meditation teaching. She has had a multitude of “peak experiences” through different modalities and continues to work toward integration of these insights.
Her experience as a speech-language pathologist and work in assistive technology have taught her the importance of communication and interconnectedness, along with the necessity of individualization. She has been supporting people as they move toward chosen potentials as humans and professionals for over twenty years.

- Monday, October 3, from 6:30 to 8 pm, the Unity Book Group at Church meets in the library downstairs. They are currently reading Menus for Impulsive Living: A Revolutionary Approach to Organizing Your Life by Kurt Leland. Contact is Rick Youmans- email: thecawl@hotmail.com
- The Law of Attraction group is changing from Wednesdays to Tuesdays. The next meeting is September 30th, from 6:30 to 8 pm. They will be meeting weekly. They will be starting with the basics from the Abraham group through Ester and Jerry Hicks. If you can’t attend in person, they will have Google Meet (it is like Zoom) available. - Sunday Questions: After lunch we will share our answers! The questions are: 1) If you could have anyone speak at our church, who would you invite? Why? and 2) Are you able to be alone with yourself? Is it important? Why? Think through your answers and bring them to the table!
- If you or someone you know attends our church who does not use email, please help us to create a list of those folks so we can call them in case of emergency closings or other events. You can give that information to any board member. Thank you.

First Sunday Meditation Mini-Retreat with Robert Aho will on the Sunday October 5th, from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Free Will Donation Requested. This series of teachings, as well as introduced meditation techniques, will provide the basis for Spiritual Practitioners to navigate the Complete Spiritual Path. More info in the flyer HERE.
Pam Losasso, our speaker from September 28th, will be offering some workshops at the church in October. The first will be a two week seminar, October 7th and 14th, about using the “Wheel of Predictability” which is a unique intuitive tool created by Pam that incorporates Astrology and Numerology to explore predictability or life experiences. The second workshop is Tarot Class for Beginners on October 21st. See the flyer HERE for more details.
We are changing our ideas for the Fall Fundraiser on Sat. October 25th to “Songs and Sweets”. We have had little interest in the cook-off, so we have changed our plans! We have some very talented people who would like to donate their time and talent to a performance of a lifetime! After the concert, we will have a “Dessert Bar” with coffee, tea, and sweets to share. Also, the performers will hang around to answer questions and sell CDs and/or books they’ve produced! More details to come. (see link here)
