Past President, Carolyn Sheets, will be speaking about “Tracking New Earth: My View So Far”

Bio: Carolyn’s life – mine – a bit over 3/4 of a century long  – has been precisely guided by my spiritual connection. It’s astounding to view the terrain from here.  Art major. Early Childhood innovator. Cellular health educator.  Massage Therapist 50+ years – so far. Leadership opportunities at every step. High school too.  Most recently in the past years leading the Board in our sturdy little Interfaith Church in Duluth. What a gift to grow and learn here. Thank you to the Board i shared it with!  Far from perfect and worth every minute. 
Very formative is being oldest of 9 well-loved kiddos in Door County – my artistic and intellectual passions being fed and honored over and over – little cheerful child onward. I live in a spiral and seek to Explore – Share – Serve – and i get in my own way a lot. I have had the grace of mostly being well and seek to live in gratitude and the Light.  Yet my most powerful encounter with Truth was at about 23, with a little book, and i realized in a blink that i just forgot we are souls in a lifetime and this was a Big One – for all of us here – to partner with Gaia for Ascension. There was no struggle to accept this. Only knowing. Feeling the remembering happen in a quick moment – and everything changed.  Like so many of my daily friends and companions we share versions of this paradigm.  It’s vivid. We know our Truth and no doubt exists. Blessed Be. I’m grateful to be here together.
Carolyn Deneke Sheets – October 2024 – 
Deneke is from my Great Grandma – and my German heritage of farmers in the 1840s who immigrated here.  I’m  told sometimes she stands with me in Spirit.  I remember her so well when i was 4-5-6-7 and she in her deep 90s.

  • Monday, October 20th from 6:30 to 8 pm, the Unity Book Group at Church meets in the library downstairs. They are currently reading Menus for Impulsive Living: A Revolutionary Approach to Organizing Your Life by Kurt Leland. Contact is Rick Youmans- email: thecawl@hotmail.com
  • The Law of Attraction group is meeting Tuesday, October 21th, from 6:30 to 8 pm. They will be meeting weekly. They will be starting with the basics from the Abraham group through Ester and Jerry Hicks. If you can’t attend in person, they will have Google Meet (it is like Zoom) available. For more information you can contact Sue Hall: 218-340-3761.
  • Pam Losasso, our speaker from September 28th, will be offering a workshop: Tarot Class for Beginners on October 21st. See the flyer HERE for more details. She will be rescheduling her other classes.
  • Pam will also be offering FREE 5 minute readings on Sunday October 19th and Sunday November 2nd to anyone interested. Your “fee” will be proof of membership!
    She will also be offering 50% off half-hour readings to those interested, again, with proof of membership!
  • Sunday Questions: After lunch we will share our answers! The questions are: 1) Do you have to believe in Jesus to be saved? and 2) Are we a Metaphysical church or a Spiritualist church? Define both Think through your answers and bring them to the table!
  • Emily Christenson, who has spoken and offered workshops at our church, will be offering a workshop at Svalja Yoga Studio. The Workshop is called Mediumship and the Soul v.2. It will be a 3 week in-person workshop combining teachings, experiences, and demonstrations of mediumship. This workshop will be offered November 2nd, 9th, and 16th from 1 to 4 pm. Limited to 12 people. Please see the flyer HERE. (You can ask Sue Brewer for more details as well.)
  • If you or someone you know attends our church who does not use email, please help us to create a list of those folks so we can call them in case of emergency closings or other events. You can give that information to any board member. Thank you.

 Please help us spread the word! Our Fall Fundraiser, Saturday, October 25th, will be Songs and Sweets! We have some very talented people who would like to donate their time and talent to a performance of a lifetime! After the concert, we will have a “Dessert Bar” with coffee, tea, and sweets to share. Also, the performers will be available to answer questions and sell CDs and/or books they’ve produced! We will also be holding a Silent Auction during during the event. If you have something you’d like to donate, please bring it to church. (see flier HERE or Register at LINK)

Annual Meeting and Membership: October 26th.

It’s that time of year, where we would like everyone to update their information or sign up to be a member, and get ready for the Annual Meeting. Members, allies, new faces: All are welcome!
At the Annual Meeting, we will be discussing the progress we’ve accomplished so far as well as a Financial report.
It is also a time of elections. We have one board trustee opening and the vice president opening. Carol Kari, Barbara With, and Robert Aho have all stepped forward to be considered for these positions.
If you would like to become a member or update your membership, you have several options:

First Sunday Meditation Mini-Retreat with Robert Aho will on the Sunday November 2nd, from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Chuck’s topic is “Being Present Will Be Increasingly Important in this Shift of Consciousness”

BIO: In 1995, as part of the transformation of his life and his chiropractic practice,
Chuck Crom began his exploration of spiritual and metaphysical ideas, concepts
and practices. In the last three decades, that exploration and journey has taken many forms.
There was a deep immersion in a variety of channeled sources of information
such as Neal Donald Walsh, Ron Scholastico & The Guides, Jane Roberts & Seth,
Mary Ennis & Elias, Serge Grandbois & Kris, the Course in Miracles and many
others.
There were many types of healing modalities that were explored and extensively
utilized, which also became the source of a great deal of understanding regarding
how the body and consciousness moved as one.
Many spiritual philosophies were explored, including Druidic, East Indian,
American Indian and South American Shamanism, mystic Christianity, Buddhism,
Gnosticism and others. Information contained in the offerings of the Kabbalah, Sacred Geometry and
Sufism, were also explored. As were many other sources of deep wisdom traditions.
All of this was set against a background of continually moving toward a deeper
connection or awareness, with those aspects of himself that experienced
themselves as eternal.
This was experienced in many forms, including automatic writing about five years
ago, as he would share information in blog form on various platforms.
Voice channeling began in January of 2022, in association with the publication of
an audio podcast series. This was followed by the recognition of another presence
in his awareness, as he began voice channeling for a small group of friends on
Sunday mornings, in the late spring of 2023.
