 🟢  A N N O U N C E M E N T S

  • We are thinking about a Drumming/Potluck dinner in honor of the Winter Solstice for  Saturday, December 21st.   There will be a sign up sheet for this in the Community Room.
  • Since our Thanksgiving Potluck was such a success, let’s get a start planning our Christmas Potluck dinner.   There will be a sign up sheet for this in the Community Room. 
  • We have set up a donation table to gather hats, mittens, scarves and other clothing items to keep people in need warm. Other donations can include toiletries and personal care items as well. We might also think about toys for children who may not get any other presents this season.
  • Let’s share with the community! It was decided at our last board meeting to continue our outreach to organizations by donating monetary contributions from our Sunday lunch donations once a month. 
  • Are you interested in starting a Course in Miracles  study group? Since we’ve had such a group before, there has been some interest is starting this kind of study group again. Let a board member know if you want to be part of this.
  • Please think about joining our snow removal team. Steve and Michael can use your help!
  • Bonnie Walden, who taught many of us how to make hand drums, passed on Thursday. She will be cremated at the mortuary in Virginia with a celebration of life to be held later-possibly in the spring. Bonnie was a past member of our church.

SUNDAY SPEAKER : CHUCK CROM

Chuck Crom will be our speaker this Sunday.
The title of his talk is  “Understanding and Trusting Your Life”

Bio: In 1995, as part of the transformation of his life and his chiropractic practice,
Chuck Crom began his exploration of spiritual and metaphysical ideas, concepts
and practices.
In the last three decades, that exploration and journey has taken many forms.
There was a deep immersion in a variety of channeled sources of information
such as Neal Donald Walsh, Ron Scholastico & The Guides, Jane Roberts & Seth,
Mary Ennis & Elias, Serge Grandbois & Kris, the Course in Miracles and many
others.
There were many types of healing modalities that were explored and extensively
utilized, which also became the source of a great deal of understanding regarding
how the body and consciousness moved as one.
Many spiritual philosophies were explored, including Druidic, East Indian,
American Indian and South American Shamanism, mystic Christianity, Buddhism,
Gnosticism and others.
Information contained in the offerings of the Kabbalah, Sacred Geometry and
Sufism, were also explored. As were many other sources of deep wisdom
traditions.
All of this was set against a background of continually moving toward a deeper
connection or awareness, with those aspects of himself that experienced
themselves as eternal.
This was experienced in many forms, including automatic writing about five years
ago, as he would share information in blog form on various platforms.
Voice channeling began in January of 2022, in association with the publication of
an audio podcast series. This was followed by the recognition of another presence
in his awareness, as he began voice channeling for a small group of friends on
Sunday mornings, in the late spring of 2023.
