Bio:
I grew up in the Northeast Minneapolis area and attended college at the U of MN – St Paul Campus. I graduated with majors in Forest Recreation and Soil Science. During those Summers I was a canoe guide for the Scouts, near Ely. An interesting “synchronicity” is that Cory Kolodji and I guided together in those Summers and have kept our friendship through the years. Now just recently Cory was a Speaker at Interfaith Church.
After college, my work was as a soil scientist / ecologist with the US Forest Service and Soil Conservation Service. I was fortunate to complete a 4 city arc across northern Minnesota, with a 2 year stint in Laramie, Wyoming, thrown in for good measure!
Since 2019, I’ve been studying Healing Touch and am a Level 3 Practitioner. 5 is the highest level and I’m planning to continue. Stacey Quade, who lives in Duluth, is my Mentor and I am fortunate to study with her. In January of this year, I traveled to Cambodia and was able to visit Buddhist Temples there. This was a powerful experience in my “energetic pathway.” I found Interfaith Church last Summer and am getting to know some of you now and expand my community here in Duluth.
I retired 3 years ago, and have chosen Duluth as my home for 7 years. To me, Duluth is a Goldilocks town – not too big and not too small – just right.
